We thought it would be helpful for our fans and those who are thinking about doing a bootcamp with Pur | Method, to hear about Lisa’s experience and how the program worked for her!

P|M – Describe how you “used” to look at fitness… and if that has changed or “evolved’ today…..
LISA : I USED TO SEE FITNESS AS NECESSARY TO STAY IN SHAPE BUT BORING. I NOW SEE IT AS FUN AND ENERGIZING.
P|M – What do you most love about Pur Method classes?
LISA: I LOVE THAT THE CLASSES ARE VARIED AND SO MUCH FUN! ONE OF THE BIGGEST THINGS I LEARNED IS THAT A FITNESS CLASS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A SOLID HOUR, ALTHOUGH IDEAL, IT CAN BE IN SMALL SEGMENT THROUGHOUT THE DAY. MY SCHEDULE IS VERY BUSY AT TIMES AND DOES NOT ALWAYS ALLOW FOR A HOUR, BUT FITTING IN 15 OR 30 MINUTE SESSIONS WAS NO PROBLEM.
P|M – What were your goals when you started Pur Method Bootcamp…. did you hit all of them?
LISA: I WANTED TO HAVE MORE ENERGY, LOSE WEIGHT, FEEL BETTER IN MY CLOTHES…… I HAVE MORE ENERGY AND FEEL BETTER IN MY CLOTHES BUT WOULD LIKE TO LOSE A LITTLE MORE WEIGHT.
P|M – How have you changed personally from the experience?
LISA: I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT IN WHO I AM AND HOW I STRIVE FOR NEW GOALS.
P|M – How hard was it for you?
LISA: BEING OVER 40 DOES HAVE ITS CHALLENGES AND I AM LEARNING THAT I NEED TO BE PATIENT WITH MY BODY. IT DOES NOT RESPOND AS QUICKLY AS I WOULD LIKE BUT THOUGH CONSISTENCY AND HARD WORK IT WILL MATCH MY VISION. I NO LONGER BUY INTO THAT CLICHE “YOU JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT THE WAY YOUR BODY LOOKS AFTER A CERTAIN AGE.”
P|M – The program has dance components… were you a dancer?
LISA: I HAVE NOT TAKEN DANCE CLASSES BEFORE BUT AM FINDING THAT I LOVE IT AND WOULD LIKE TO LEARN AND PRACTICE MORE. I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WAS TOO CLUMSY AND AWKWARD TO LEARN DANCE AND NOW SEE THAT IT IS DOABLE.
P|M – You’ve decided to “enlist” again in another round…. despite winning the first round….. How come?
LISA : I FEEL LIKE I HAVE JUST GOTTEN STARTED ON MY FITNESS JOURNEY AND WANT TO SEE WHERE IT WILL LEAD. THIS ROUND MY GOALS ARE TO BECOME MORE TONED AND SCULPTED. AS THE SCHOOL YEAR COMES TO A CLOSE AND MY SCHEDULE BECOMES INSANELY BUSY, KEEPING A CONSISTENT FITNESS ROUTINE WILL BE THE CHALLENGE
